What is Lifestyle Medicine?

  • My courses are based on Lifestyle Medicine, a distinct medical specialty focused on treating chronic conditions through lifestyle changes.

  • Treatments target conditions like cardiovascular disease, type-2 diabetes, and obesity using prescriptive lifestyle changes.

  • ​The approach centers on the six pillars: plant-predominant eating, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoiding risky substances, and fostering positive social connections.

How are the courses structured?

  • Courses are structured as short video modules, each 10–15 minutes long, covering key topics in Lifestyle Medicine.

  • Each module includes a personalized handout to help you apply the concepts to your own life.

  • ​Motivational interviewing techniques are used to guide effective personal goal-setting throughout the course.
